DESCRIPTION:Date: December 16\, 2025 \nTime: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  \nLocation: OSSE \nTarget Audience: Administrators\, Teachers\, School Staff\, Behavioral Support \nDescription: This professional development experience brings together educators from across the DC Education community to explore the intersection of social emotional learning (OSSE Standards)  and data-driven practices as critical levers for student success and school improvement. Through a balance of experiential learning\, collaborative dialogue\, and applied data inquiry\, participants will strengthen their capacity to create safe\, connected\, and equitable learning environments while using evidence to guide instructional and cultural strategies. \nThis day is designed to restore\, inspire\, and equip educators with actionable tools (Panorama) that connect heart and head: centering student and adult well-being while ensuring that decisions are grounded in meaningful data and aligned with school and district goals:  \n\nDefine and model core SEL Standards (OSSE) for both students and adults in school settings.\nUnderstand the role of SEL in shaping positive school climate\, behavior\, and academic outcomes.\nAnalyze school- and district-level data (attendance\, achievement\, behavioral\, climate survey\, etc.) to identify strengths\, gaps\, and areas for growth.\nApply a cycle of inquiry to make data-informed decisions that align with SEL practices and district priorities.\nDevelop strategies for embedding SEL into academic instruction\, school culture\, and adult professional culture.\nCreate an action plan that integrates SEL practices with data use to support whole-child development and systemic improvement.\n\nBy participating in this workshop\, you will gain practical tools and strategies to enhance your school’s approach to SEL\, build stronger community connections\, and support the emotional well-being of everyone in your school community. \nRDC Registration Link: https://forms.gle/gv3iKTbLDJVReBWJ6 \nPLUs Awarded: 6 \nUse the following link to register for PLU’s through OSSE
