PD: Restorative Justice and Student Engagement

Target Audience: Administrators, Teachers, Behavioral Support

This session is designed to utilize restorative practices to engage students in multiple ways. With the complexity of socialization and student needs, this session will explore ways students can be engaged in formal and informal restorative processes. Participants will leave with tools and strategies to build transformational relationships with students, empowering youth to become collaborations in their learning process, both academically and socially. All professional development sessions use a trauma-informed approach and teach skills and practices that you can implement immediately.

DC Public School and DC Public Charter School staff are asked to register for this course through OSSE’s new learning management system (LMS) platform. Educators can follow the instructions here to activate their account. Staff will only be able to receive PLU’s by registering through the system.
