Description: Target Audience: School Staff, Teachers
Learn how to incorporate responsive peacemaking circles into your classroom and community. This session will focus on responsive circles and the structured intervention for severe and complex incidents of harm. Participants will engage in mock disciplinary scenarios to practice a responsive circle; discuss preparatory meetings, mock circles, and written agreements; and review re-entry processes. Throughout, session facilitators and participants will share feedback to enhance skill development.
DC Public School and DC Public Charter School who are interested in receiving 2 PLU’s for full participation in this course are asked to register for this course through OSSE’s new learning management system (LMS) platform. Educators can follow the instructions here to activate their account. Staff will only be able to receive two PLU’s by registering through the system.
