Responsive Circle Implementation

IN-PERSON SESSION

Learn how to incorporate responsive peacemaking circles into your classroom and community. This session will focus on responsive circles and structured intervention for severe and complex incidents of harm. Participants will engage in mock disciplinary scenarios to practice a responsive circle; discuss preparatory meetings, mock circles, and written agreements; and review re-entry processes. Throughout, the session facilitators and participants will share feedback to enhance skill development.

PLUs
DC Public School and DC Public Charter School employees who are interested in receiving 2 PLUs for full participation in this course are asked to register for this course through OSSE’s new learning management system (LMS) platform. Educators can follow the instructions here to activate their account. Staff will only be able to receive 2 PLU’s by registering through the system.
