Restorative Justice and Universal Design for Learning

Independent PD: Early Learning and RJ, Leadership, Assessment:

How can we make restorative justice accessible to everyone? How do we engage in restorative practices beyond circles and responding to conflict? When students have the freedom and opportunity to co-create their learning experiences, they are more likely to remain engaged, participate in learning and develop healthy relationships with members of the school community. Teachers, administrators, school staff and early education workers will examine the intersection of restorative justice and Universal Design of Learning, and consider how restorative practices support engagement, representation, and action and expression of all K-12 learners in the community.
