Staff Engagement & Wellness

Target Audience: Administrators, School Staff, Teachers

As staff return to school communities, they will be asked to manage complex schedules, including online and in-person instruction, address the increased needs of students and families, and manage shifting resources while balancing their own households, health needs, and possible grief due to the loss of loved ones. This session will introduce participants to staff community-building circles and trauma-based restorative practices that can provide opportunities for emotional support, team building, and the exploration of core assumptions for working together effectively. Participants will learn strategies for self-care, conflict resolution, and restorative communication in a virtual setting.

All professional development sessions use a trauma-informed approach and teach skills and practices that you can implement immediately. We highly encourage participants to join our weekly coaching sessions for a deeper dive into the challenges of implementation and practice. All Fall 2021 sessions will be held virtually on Zoom.
